Beausejour Animal Hospital is seeking a dairy focused veterinarian to join our expanding seven veterinarian mixed practice.  The position is permanent and offers membership dues, health benefits, CE allowance, and retirement savings plan.

Our practice is evenly split between large and companion animal, the large animal being predominantly dairy.  We are equipped with in house-lab, digital radiology, dentistry equipment, tonovet, easi-scan ultrasounds and all necessary equipment.  We also provide in house milk culturing and Dairy Comp DHI analysis to our clients.  We supply a truck with porta vet box for on farm services.

The veterinarian we are searching for is knowledgeable and efficient, a team player who goes the extra mile for clients.  We are committed to best practice medicine and want a veterinarian who strives to improve their skills and knowledge continually.  A thorough understanding of the dairy industry, an ability to perform DHI analysis, as well as efficiency in bovine reproductive ultrasonography is required.  For the inexperienced applicant we will provide extended mentorship opportunities.

Beausejour is an ideal place to live and raise a family.  We are located half way between Winnipeg and the Whiteshell cottage country.  Our practice area is perfect for anyone who enjoys outdoor living, cottage life, hobby farming, while still having the city close by.  There is a very low cost of living in the area, and great public infrastructure.  The area is ideal for the hunting, fishing, golfing, and ATV enthusiast.  Our town has an extremely active atmosphere with many recreational sports leagues of all types.
