With us you will have the chance to delve into small animal internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine and emergency medicine, to name a few. You will also experience working with dairy, beef, equine, small ruminant, camelid and small flock avian patients. We actively encourage our veterinarians to explore their interests and expand their skills. Join us to find or pursue your passion in veterinary medicine!

To help you find your best work-life balance, we offer a 4-day work week, competitive salary, 3 weeks paid vacation, CE allowance, paid sick days, full health and dental benefits, a stocked work vehicle, CVO licensing dues, membership to VIN, OVMA, CVMA and desired veterinary associations (OABP, SRVO, AAEP, Grey Bruce Veterinary Association, etc..) and participation in staff discounts. For new graduates we offer a minimum of 6 months individualized mentorship from multiple experienced vets on staff.

On-call duties are 1 evening per week and 1 weekend per month. Experience dependent compensation is provided for on-call work.

We routinely receive compliments on our amazing support staff. They work hard to make everyone feel included and to treat our patients like their own.  The clinic has all the bells and whistles- digital radiography, small animal and large animal repro ultrasound,  full in-clinic Idexx laboratory, Avimark software and Power float for equine dentistry.

Our clients are an easy going mix of rural and small town urban. 2 hours to Guelph/KW and 3 hours to GTA, Paisley and Grey-Bruce are a dream for those who like being outdoors. We have beaches, lakes, rivers, The Grotto, The Bruce Trail, ski hills and trails for hiking, cross-country skiing,  snowmobile and horse use. The area has several festivals (Summerfolk, Bluesfest, Wiarton Willy Groundhog Day Festival) for those with artistic interests or just looking for something fun once COVID allows us to get out and about!
