We have an opening for a full time or part time veterinarian.  Candidates should be proficient at rectal palpation and ultrasonic reproductive examinations of dairy cattle. We all see beef cattle, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas and potbelly pigs. Veterinary Associate Position

Kamloops Large Animal Veterinary Clinic is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our clinic team.  We require a qualified large animal veterinarian who has a special interest in bovine medicine and surgery as well as competency in routine equine medicine and surgery.  Our present team includes 5 large animal veterinarians, and 11 support staff.  This is an opportunity to be involved in cow/calf and feedlot herd health management, data analysis and the associated tasks relative to bovine practice.  An interest and experience in equine practice is equally important.  We deliver services both in clinic and by ambulatory means.  Veterinarians at our clinic utilize a mobile software system, bovine and equine ultra sound systems, equine power floats, digital x-ray, gastroscopy and endoscopy and a surgery suite.

We are offering this position to an enthusiastic, hard worker who is confident around cattle and horses of all disciplines.  Kamloops is located in the beautiful south central interior of BC and the clinic supplies an excellent support team that enables success to our veterinary staff.
